Baby Update No. 4

How far along: 25 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: I have gained 13 lbs so far. 13 doesn't seem so bad, but when I get on the scale and see the number, I have to admit it is a little scary.

Maternity clothes: I love my new maternity skinny jeans. I at least feel alittle in fashion. I usually have a really hard time finding something to wear. Maternity clothes are so blah to me. Oh well.

Stretch Marks: Nope still do not have any.

Sleep: Sleep is still my friend. I love crawling into bed and resting my legs and belly.

Dreams: No strange dreams.

Best Moment this week: Matt and I had the day off and celebrated his birthday by going to the Doctors for an ultrasound and got to see our cute healthy baby. Then went to lunch, did a little shopping, and had a great time alone together.

Food Cravings: I really haven't had any cravings lately. I wish the baby would tell me what to eat. It would make things a lot easier.

Aversions: I think I am over my aversions.

Gendor: Still a boy

What I miss: My old clothes.

Baby Update No. 3

How far along: 16 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Gained 4 lbs. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

Maternity clothes: I wore some maternity jeans on Saturday and I totally forgot how comfortable they are.

Stretch Marks: Nope

Sleep: I have been sleeping good. As soon as the clock hits 11:00 p.m. I fall straight to sleep. It is great.

Dreams: No strange dreams this time around.

Best Moment this week: I had my Dr. Appointment and my gender check ultrasound and we found out we are having a BOY!!!! We are so excited. I think Matt and I are both in shock. It seems like a dream. I can't wait to see what he will look like.

Food Cravings: Juicy Fruit gum, Sour Apple blow pops, and/or Sour Apple Zots (if you don't know what they are, go to your local 7-Eleven. They have them). I can't get enough of this stuff.

Aversions: Ham, bacon, and pasta salads. I usually love pasta salad, but lately I can't stand it.

Gendor: BOY!!!!

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach. The time has come were I can no longer sleep on my stomach. It is really sad. I am a total stomach sleeper. I am going to have to start sleeping with a body pillow soon which I know Matt is going to love. He hates that thing, but it is a life saver for me and my belly.

I promise a pic soon!

Baby Update No. 2

How far along: 12 weeks and 2 days

Total weight gain/loss: I have gained 3 lbs. so far.

Maternity clothes: Still have not needed maternity clothes as of yet, but I am unbuttoning my pants button and doing the whole elastic rubber band thing.

Stretch Marks: Nope

Sleep: I have not been sleeping as well lately. Not by my own choice. My kiddos are having troubles sleeping at night and so momma gets woken up at least 3 times a night. However, it does give me potty breaks.

Dreams: No strange dreams the past 2 weeks. Although come to think of it I had a pretty scary nightmare last week, but I would rather not talk about it. It was a sad dream that I was so thankful to wake up from.

Best Moment this week: I had my doctors appointment and got to see the baby again. He/She is growing so fast and looks so healthy and great. I also scheduled my gender check ultrasound for March 4th. I cannot wait to know the sex of the baby.

Food Cravings: Still none. Although I am able to at least eat. Nothing ever sounds good, but I can at least get food down.

Aversions: Still Ham and Bacon. I was able to eat a piece of pizza the other day so I think maranara is ok again.

Gendor: We will know on March 4th!!! Start placing your bets.

What I miss: Having energy. I am getting so frustrated with my lack of energy. I have been getting better and have been able to actually do some housework and play with the girls more, but I still get tired so fast. I am almost done with the 1st trimester and so I am hoping in the next couple of weeks I will feel more up beat again.

Baby Update No. 1

Recently I have seen some blogs of pregnant women who have done this cute little update of their pregnancy. I have decided to do it as well. Mainly so my sister, Heather, who lives in Colorado can keep up todate with this baby.

How far along: 10 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: I have actually lost about 5 lbs. I have been really sick and having mono didn't help.

Maternity clothes: I have not needed maternity clothes as of yet. I am shocked that even my skinny jeans still fit.

Stretch Marks: I never had stretch marks with my first two and I hope to be as lucky with this one as well.

Sleep: Awww the only thing I want to do lately. I sware the second my head hits a pillow I am out. I mean I could always fall asleep at the drop of a hat, but now it is all I want to do lately.

Dreams: I have been having weird baked goods dreams. I had a dream about someone bringing the most amazing donuts to work and then the other night I had a dream that I owned an ice cream store and made the best cupcakes with ice cream frosting on the top. Funny thing is, I really don't want sweets with this pregnancy. I just dream about them.

Best Moment this week: I finally told my boss and co-workers. I don't know why I was so nervous to tell them. They are all really excited for me.

Food Cravings: None. Food is not my friend at the moment. I would give anything to have my body actually tell me what it wants instead of just making me sick all the time.

Aversions: Ham, Bacon, and maranara sauce. Just thinking about ham can make me gag.

Gendor: We don't know yet. But everyone keeps telling me its gonna be a boy. Which probably means a girl. Who knows, a couple more weeks and we will know.

What I miss: Eating and excercising. I miss being able to eat food and I really miss running. Having mono and being sick from pregnancy has put a halt on my running. I really miss it and hope to head back to the gym this week for some light runs, swimming, biking, and walking.

Pictures will come as the belly grows.

FOR MY HUBBY!

So the past two weeks have been some of the hardest weeks for me physically EVER. Not only am I pregnant, but I have been dealing with mono. My poor family is probably so tired of hearing about how crappy I feel and blah blah blah, but I have never felt so close to death then I have the last couple of weeks. I could not eat, sleep, move, walk, shower, or anything. I am just so thankful to my husband who has been a champ during all of this. Not only did he have to put up with my crankiness, but he had to do everything around the house and take care of the girls so I could just rest. He seriously is the best! I thought for sure I would hear a complaint by now, but he seriously hasn't complained once. So this blog is for you Matt. Thank you for being such a great dad and husband and taking care of me. I would have never made it through without you. I love you!

Family Picture

We were at a family Christmas party and thought, "lets go outside and get a quick picture of the family'.

Sounded easy enough...NOPE.

Oh well... We tried.

4th of July

The 4th of July is one of my most favorite holidays. Christmas is my favorite, but the 4th of July is pretty darn close.
This year we were so lucky to spend the 4th with Matt's sister and her family in Carson City, NV. They are even luckier to live about 15 to 20 minutes away from Lake Tahoe. We had so much fun. Our trip was filled with trips to Sand Harbor Beach, crayfish catching, paddle boating, Eclipse watching, Shopping on the California side of Tahoe, Firework watching, shopping in Reno, and last but not least tons of fun, eating, talking, laughing, and joking around. We really miss Trish and her family and wish they lived closer. My kids adore their cousins and wish they got to spend more time with them, but we are thankful they are only 8 hours away and that we are able to visit more then we did when they were in Boston.

Our camera is broken so Trish was nice enough to take tons of pictures and send me some. THANKS TRISH!!!

Here are some pictures of our trip.
